Nota Motors is an accredited VicRoads testing centre for Roadworthy Certificates. A roadworthy inspection checks a vehicle to ensure that key components aren’t worn or deteriorated and that it is safe for use on Victorian roads.
In Victoria a Roadworthy Certificate is required when a vehicle is being sold. The owner of the vehicle must provide a current Roadworthy Certificate to the buyer, unless the buyer is a spouse or a motor vehicle trader.
A vehicle can be sold without an RWC (Roadworthy Certificate) if it is not registered. If a used vehicle is being re-registered a current Roadworthy Certificate is required. In some cases a Roadworthy Certificate is needed to clear a vehicle defect notice. You can book online for an inspection and to get Roadworthy Certificate cost / estimate from Nota Motors.
